Visit our "purple" office

I am delighted to be part of a professional building such as the Indian River National Bank building, with full size glass windows and high ceilings. The second floor offers a panoramic view of the outside and at the same time you receive your privacy thanks to the tinted windows. I hope you enjoy the shades of purple and glass blocks you will find in our office. I mean purple, always more, our uniforms, chairs, paper, carpet, gloves...! I avoided walls as much as I could to create a relaxing open concept. The equipment is state-of-the-art in technology. It includes: Ultrasonic scalers, airpolishing cleaning systems, Ultraclave sterilizer, 6 minute cyclesterilizer, crown stain stove, oil and water free vacuum machine and compressor, independent bottle water supply with water line heater and ozone purifier, fiber optic curing lights and handpieces, electrosurgical unit, apex locator, vitalometer and laser cavity detector. Of course the attention grabber to the patient is the individual TV monitors and computer flatscreen in each room. This allows patients to watch cable channels, movies, or a patient education channel with topics you can select from, but most importantly pictures of your own teeth can be seen thru the intra-oral camera (like a scope). It can also be printed like a Polaroid. In addition, we use a digital camera to record your picture on our computer screen. It can also capture your smile, so we can modify teeth by computer imaging to show you desired cosmetic modifications before the actual making.

Digital X-ray As much as 90% reduction in radiation!

My favorite toy, the filmless digital X-ray imaging system that serves the whole office, we are all DIGITAL! Even if the conventional technology is already using very low radiation, these electronic X-ray machines need less radiation to get a picture thru the sensor. The advantage is obvious to the patient but also to the practice since there is no processing time and the instant picture can be reversed, darkened, lightened, colored, blown up, contrasted, etc. It is saved into the computer and can be printed at any time later. The HIGH-TECH panoramic X-ray machine, delivers a precise picture of your whole jaws for less radiation than a conventional small film. The digital process now reduces this radiation by an additional 50% since it is part of the computer's network. In every room you can have your X-rays displayed on a monitor right in front of your eyes, full magnification.

Advanced Sterilization

We follow the latest infection control guidelines by using approved sterilization procedures to ensure your SAFETY as well as ours. Our staff will be happy to give you a tour of the office and demonstrate our modern sterilization process by cassettes. Since everything can't fit into sterilizers, cross contamination is also prevented by plastic sleeves and liquid disinfectant. Water lines biofilm is prevented by an "ozone purifier" that assures the sterile water to remain sterile all the way to your mouth.
